(BNHA chapter 101 SPOILERS) So, here I mentioned that it’d be nice to see the students protect/save the teachers later on, in a sort of reversal of roles once they fully grew into themselves and became stronger. 

Chapter 101 is a great chapter, but, what with my love of Dad Might (and my numerous headcanons), the scene where a chunk of earth from Bakugou’s training site nearly falls on Toshinori was the one that stood out most to me.

I was basically, “Oh shit, he can’t save himself anymore, what’s going to happen?”

IZUKU.

IZUKU FLYING OUT OF NOWHERE AND SAVING HIM, THAT’S WHAT HAPPENS.

I mean I KNOW the focus of this is supposed to be Izuku finding his own style/method of battling instead of constantly copying All Might BUT *GRIPS SHIRT* HE, THE ONCE (and probably still) FANBOY, THE SUCCESSOR, THE GREEN FLUFF SON, PROTECTED ALL MIGHT.

I’m, so emotional right now??? Because, here, in the very first chapter

it’s All Might saving Izuku from a villain with his signature move. AND NOW IT’S IZUKU PROTECTING ALL MIGHT WITH WHAT WILL BECOME ONE OF HIS SIGNATURE MOVES

I WAS NOT EXPECTING A MOMENT OF THE SON™ PROTECTING HIS DAD SO SOON. I MEAN YEAH IT’S FROM A FALLING BOULDER BUT STILL, THAT BOULDER COULD HAVE REALLY HURT THIS SICKLY MAN BUT IZUKU PROTECTED HIM AND THAT IS EVERYTHING TO ME
